The Eagle Mountain Farmers Market runs this website to tell people when the market is on, who is selling, and how to take part. This page explains what the site collects while you use it, and what it does not.
The short version
You can browse this whole site without giving us anything. There are no accounts to create, no comments to leave, and nothing to buy. We do not sell or share personal information, and we have no advertising on the site.
What we collect
When you email us
If you write to eaglemountainfarmersmarket@gmail.com, we keep your message and your address so we can answer it and follow up. We use it for that and nothing else. Ask us to delete the correspondence and we will.
Visitor statistics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and roughly where visitors come from. It tells us that the market map was opened four hundred times on a Saturday; it does not tell us who opened it. Google sets cookies to do this and processes the data on our behalf — you can read Google’s privacy policy for the detail.
The banner you saw on your first visit is where you accept or decline these cookies. Declining does not limit any part of the site. If you want to change your answer later, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and the banner will ask again.
Server and security logs
Like any website, ours records requests as they arrive — the page asked for, the time, the browser, and the IP address it came from. Our security plugin reads those records to block attacks on the site. The logs are kept for a short period and are not used to build any profile of you.
Other sites we send you to
Vendor listings link out to the businesses’ own pages, and vendor and entertainer applications are handled on Market Spread, which is a separate company with its own privacy policy. The market map draws its aerial imagery from Esri. Once you follow a link off this site, whatever happens there is covered by that site’s policy, not this one.
Children
This site is meant for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will remove it.
Photographs
The market is a public event, and photographs taken there may appear on this site or on our social media. If you would rather a picture of you or your family came down, tell us which one and we will take it off.
Asking us about your information
Write to eaglemountainfarmersmarket@gmail.com and ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. We will answer within a reasonable time. It is usually very little — an email thread, or nothing at all.
Changes
If what the site collects changes, we will update this page and change the date below.
